International Symposium on Insects as Feed, Food and Non-Food
INSECTA 2021
As a main characteristic the INSECTA conference provides an interdisciplinary exchange of ideas and discussions to topics around the use of insects. Participants from all relating disciplines and from all over the world ensure the success of our conference. The INSECTA 2021© conference as an international platform on use of insects for interested people from science, agriculture and insect breeding, plant construction, users, manufacturers of food and feed, lawyers and veterinarians took place in September 08-09.
Main topics for oral presentations and poster presentations has been:
- Food Safety for Using Insects
- Insects production systems
- Application of insects as feed and food
- Non-food applications of insects
- Insect health and insect welfare
The conference is organizied in cooperation of PPM and ATB. For INSECTA 2021 PPM was primarily responsible and the contact persons are Thomas Piofczyk and Anke Rehwald-Faupel.
